Brest State Technical University is hosting the "Week of Parental Love"—a series of events timed to coincide with the celebrations of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. During this time, the university is filled with a special atmosphere of gratitude, comfort, and family warmth. Students, faculty, and staff honor the most important people in their lives by coming together for creative and educational projects.
Here is what has already been organized and held:
- Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering Creative Initiative: "With Love in Every Word"
The Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering took a creative approach to congratulating parents. Students crafted greeting cards in which sincere appreciation could be felt in every word. - Faculty of Economics Festive Initiative
Economics students demonstrated that love can be measured not only by feelings but also by good deeds. - Photo Exhibition: "Thanks for Being by My Side!"
The BrSTU Department of Ideological and Educational Work organized a touching photo exhibition. The images capture the most sincere moments—smiles, hugs, and the support students receive from their families. - "Being a Mom is Cool!": An Open Dialogue on What Matters MostAs part of a national project, the university hosted a meeting dedicated to family values and responsible parenting. Participants discussed the joys and challenges of parenthood, shared personal experiences, and received important information regarding state support for young families.
- Unified Information Days: Family as the Foundation of the State
The theme of the regular Unified Information Day meeting at BrSTU was "Traditional Values of Belarusians: Family, Society, and the State." The event highlighted the inextricable link between the well-being of the individual family and the stability of the country as a whole.
