The III Forum of Rectors of Universities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus “Education as the most important factor in strengthening bilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus” was launched on November 27.

The forum began its work in Dushanbe at the Tajik Technological University. The forum is attended by heads of universities and institutes of the Republic of Tajikistan and 12 heads of institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich delivered a plenary report “Digital engineering in education and science: principles and tools of interuniversity cooperation”.

As part of the Forum, an agreement on cooperation in the field of digitalization was signed between Brest State Technical University and the leading university of the Republic of Tajikistan - the Tajik National University. The document was signed by the Rector of TNU Nasriddinzoda Emomali Saifiddin and the Rector of BrSTU Kasperovich Sergey Antonovich.

Also, at the solemn ceremony of signing bilateral agreements between universities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus, agreements on cooperation in the field of education, science and youth policy were signed with the Institute of Energy of Tajikistan, the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan.
