Vladimir Gennadievich Novoseltsev, Head of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation of Brest State Technical University, took part in a career guidance meeting held at the BrSTU branch "Polytechnic College". The event was attended by 9th and 11th grade students from schools No. 1, 17, 20, 22, 23 and 24 in Brest.

The meeting was dedicated to the new specialty 5-04-0732-07 "Installation and operation of heat and gas supply and ventilation systems", which was opened at the college in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated October 21, 2024 No. 463. Students will be recruited from 2025.

The initiators of opening this specialty were the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation and UP "Brestoblgaz", which is currently the only basic organization for this specialty (the corresponding agreement was concluded in 2024).

Upon completion of training, graduates will be able to obtain higher education at BrSTU in absentia in a shortened period. Vladimir Gennadyevich spoke about this in detail at the meeting.
