On December 19-20, 2024, the XVIII International Student Scientific Forum "Student Scientific Winter in Brest-2024" was held at the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit of BrSTU. The forum has been held for over 15 years and does not lose its relevance. More than 140 students from 15 universities of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the People's Republic of China presented the results of scientific research in the following areas:

– improving the development of accounting, analysis and control in modern conditions;
– digital economy: trends and prospects
– current directions of development of the financial and credit sphere of the economy;
– current directions of development of the customs sphere.

The level of practical knowledge was confirmed by the results of the Olympiad in two areas: accounting "The Lawlessness of Accounting Thought-2024" and finance "The Art of Financial Thought-2024".

Head of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit Natalya Vasilievna Potapova, welcoming the participants, noted the invaluable experience and knowledge that students acquire at such forums, and thanked them for the presented promising research on theory and practice in various fields of knowledge and professional activity.
