According to the already established tradition, every year in January the Regional New Year's Ball is held in the White Hall of the Kossovo Palace and Park Complex. Students and pupils who distinguished themselves in their studies, creativity, sports, scientific and social activities were invited to this festive event. The regional ball is held within the framework of the republican charity event "Our Children".
58 representatives of talented youth of the Brest region took part in the celebration. Representing their educational institution at the New Year's Ball for the children was a pleasant and responsible mission. Brest State Technical University, headed by Rector Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, was represented by Osipova Alla, a student of the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems, Darchich Bogdan, a master's student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Telipko Anna and Volchek Mikhail, students of the Faculty of Economics.
Honored guests were invited to the ball, including Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Vadim Vasilyevich Kravchuk and Head of the Main Education Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Natalya Anatolyevna Kalinovskaya.
"The event was organized on behalf of the head of the region. Today, the best of the best gathered on the dance floor - students and pupils who have made the Brest region famous with their achievements in studies, creativity and sports," said Vadim Kravchuk.
Young people danced the waltz, polka, quadrille and lancer in the White Hall of the Kossovsky Palace. According to traditional ballroom etiquette, the holiday opened with a ceremonial dance-procession - polonaise. The girls sparkled in luxurious evening dresses, and the young men were in formal suits, creating a harmonious image. In memory of such a fabulous journey, the debutants received memorable gifts, which will be a pleasant reminder of the celebration.
The regional New Year's ball has become a wonderful tradition, giving a lot of emotions and impressions to all its participants!
