Today, a festive event dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year and the Day of Knowledge was held on the main square of Brest State Technical University. The ceremonial assembly "Time has chosen us!" was filled with an atmosphere of joy, pride and anticipation of new achievements.

In his speech, the Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich congratulated the students on the beginning of the new academic year and wished them successful acquisition of new knowledge, constructive communication with teachers and overcoming difficulties.

The event was attended by honorary guests Sergey Nikolaevich Lobodinsky, Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee, Evgeny Aleksandrovich Kazimirchik, General Director of UP "BrestOblGaz", Viktor Petrovich Veremeyuk, Deputy Head of the Brest Customs, Father Leonid, priest of the Holy Resurrection Cathedral.

An unforgettable event awaited the students – the appearance of a new member of the university family – the robot “BRESTik”. Addressing the students, BRESTik said inspiring words: “I am your symbol of knowledge, future and unity, and I am glad to be a part of your university family!”

The appearance of BRESTik caused a storm of emotions and applause among the students and guests of the holiday, emphasizing the innovative spirit of the university and the desire for new achievements.

Also, representatives of public organizations and initiatives Bogdan Darchich, Second Secretary of the Brest City Committee of the Public Association “Belarusian Republican Youth Union”, and Tatyana Vasilyevna Strelkova, Chairperson of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students, took an active part in the event.

Tatyana Vasilyevna presented certificates and gifts to first-year students who scored the highest score upon admission to BrSTU.

The fiery numbers of student creative groups created a unique atmosphere of unity and inspiration, filling the hearts of those present with joy and enthusiasm.
