Traditional pre-holiday meeting between law enforcement representatives and international students of Brest State Technical University

On the eve of the New Year holidays, a traditional meeting between law enforcement representatives and international students of the university was held at Brest State Technical University.

Senior Lieutenant Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Mushta, an employee of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, briefed the students on the procedures for staying in the border zone and border regulations, and warned them against illegally crossing the state border.

Vadim Vasilyevich Rovensky, Deputy Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, reminded those present of the main provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus governing the stay of foreign citizens in our country and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year holidays.

Dmitry Tadeushevich Lyganovsky, Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Brest Moskovsky District Police Department, discussed in detail the importance of adhering to the university dormitory rules. He also informed international students about the need to promptly apply for temporary residence extensions in the Republic of Belarus and obtain visas for travel abroad.

Summarizing the meeting, Vitaly Anatolyevich Khaletsky, Head of the International Department, noted the significance of the event and urged international students to strictly adhere to Belarusian migration laws.
