On the evening of the Nativity of Christ, a solemn Great Vespers was held at the Garrison Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the Brest Fortress. Following the service, the traditional caroling evening, "Christmastide in the Fortress," took place.

The Brest State Technical University's folk academic choir "Belaya Vezha" performed its festive program at the celebration.
