Today, a roundtable discussion entitled "The Holocaust: A Timeless Tragedy" was held at Brest State Technical University to mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The event was attended by Maxim Borisovich Ivanov, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Holocaust Research and Educational Center, and Anna Tarasovna Onishchuk, Chair of the Brest City Council of Veterans.
The speakers described the scale of the tragedy, emphasizing the dire trials that befell humanity during World War II. Particular attention was paid to preserving historical memory, combating anti-Semitism, and preventing attempts to rewrite historical facts.
