On January 29, as part of the activities of the Union State Network University of High Technologies, a Consortium meeting was held. This marked the incorporation of Brest State Technical University and seven other Belarusian universities into the Union State Network University of High Technologies.

Joining the network opens up broad opportunities for universities to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation with leading universities in the Russian Federation. Particular attention will be paid to key areas such as digital technologies, AI, robotics, materials science, additive manufacturing, ecology, and innovative mechanical engineering.

The network university development roadmap includes organizing and holding student olympiads, summer and winter schools for gifted students, and youth educational forums. Furthermore, the universities will form working groups to implement network educational programs and focus on priority research areas.
