The trip to Istanbul organized for Chinese students from BrSTU was an unforgettable experience they will cherish for the rest of their lives. This city, located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, surprised them with its unique atmosphere, rich history, and cultural diversity. Our students visited numerous historical sites, among which the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque were particularly memorable. These architectural masterpieces amazed them with their beauty and grandeur. The Chinese students learned many interesting things about Turkish culture, traditions, and history. The tours were conducted in Russian, giving the students the opportunity to practice the language and improve their communication skills.
Turkish cuisine was a real discovery for the students! They tried kebabs, dolma, baklava, and various sweets. The street food was especially delicious.
Shopping was also included! The students visited the Grand Bazaar, where they could buy souvenirs to remember their trip. Bargaining at the bazaar was truly an art—we had to learn how to haggle, which added a fun touch to our trip.
This trip to Istanbul was not only a chance to relax but also an important step in learning and personal growth. The students returned home with new experiences, knowledge, and memories that will stay with us forever. We are confident that this trip will inspire us to travel further and explore other cultures!
