"Under the Peaceful Sky of the Motherland"

In honor of Defenders of the Fatherland and Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Belarus, a gala concert, "Under the Peaceful Sky of the Motherland," was held at Brest State Technical University. The concert was a true celebration of courage, loyalty to duty, and patriotism. This festive day was filled with the warmth of sincere congratulations, well-deserved awards, and vibrant performances.

The gala opened with a warm address from University Rector Andrei Nikolaevich Parfievich, who congratulated everyone in attendance and expressed gratitude to the university staff and students for their service and hard work. He emphasized the importance of fostering patriotism among young people and expressed gratitude to veterans and service members for their dedication and devotion to defending the Motherland. Loud applause and thanks echoed across the stage as the official portion of the program began—the presentation of honorary certificates to the best representatives of the university family. Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Aleksandrovich Dudko and Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Vasilyevich Kucheiko, instructors in the Military Department, were awarded a certificate of appreciation for diligence and distinction in service, achievements in their professional activities, and demonstrated sensible initiative, as well as in connection with the holiday.

Associate Professor of the Department of Automation of Technological Processes and Production Leonty Ivanovich Vabishchevich was awarded a university certificate for conscientious performance in their official duties, outstanding performance, and personal contribution to the civic and patriotic education of student youth, as well as in connection with the holiday.

The following were awarded the Rector's commendation for their conscientious approach to their duties, outstanding performance, and personal contribution to the civic and patriotic education of student youth, and in connection with the holiday:

― Boris Leonidovich Kazakov, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Operation

― Nikolai Nikolaevich Oniskevich, First Category Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering

― Alexander Alekseevich Chegodaev, Leading Specialist in Academic Support in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics

Natalia Petrovna Yalovaya, Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work at BrSTU, also offered warm congratulations, wishing everyone courage, nobility, honor, bravery, and dedication.

Traditionally, the best students of BrSTU's Military Department were also recognized on this day, receiving certificates for their excellent academic performance and active participation in the department's life.

Performances by the university's creative groups added a special touch to the event. Students showcased their musical talents, singing patriotic songs that contributed to the festive atmosphere.

Another highlight of the concert was the emotional video greeting from members of the BrSTU Student Council.

The event concluded with the performance of the BrSTU anthem, which has become a symbol of unity for the entire university family.
