The XXXIII Minsk International Book Fair was held in Minsk from March 17 to 22. One of the central themes of this year's fair was the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Around 500 exhibitors from 23 countries, including Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the UAE, and others, were represented at the fair. The Belarusian Women's Union booth also received special attention during the Year of the Belarusian Woman.
Representing Brest State Technical University were Yulia Vyacheslavovna Azarkevich, Director of the Library; Margarita Nikolaevna Panchenko, Head of the Library Department; Olga Dmitrievna Gurish, Lead Librarian; and Darya Kuzmuk and Vladislav Razumeychik, students of the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems.
BrSTU was represented at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus's stand in the "Youth Policy" section of the Education Quarter. The stand showcased the work of university faculty, youth projects implemented at the university, and career guidance materials. Guests were treated to an engaging interactive experience: a quiz titled "Belarus in the CIS: Coordinates of Cooperation," a game titled "Let's Talk in Belarusian," a quiz titled "Heritage in the Contours," and an interactive game titled "Profession of the Future: Build Your Own."
The main exhibit at BrSTU's stand was a service robot that invited exhibition guests to our location.
Furthermore, BrSTU representatives held and attended presentations, master classes, and discussions throughout the exhibition, sharing experiences and discussing current issues in the development of higher education and science, and also learning about the latest books.
Library Director Yulia Vyacheslavovna participated in the Republican Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Publishing House as a Library, Library as a Publishing House."
Brest State Technical University was awarded a diploma for its active participation and engaging exhibition.
