On Unity Day of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, a roundtable discussion entitled "Belarus and Russia: Common History, Common Destiny" was held at Brest State Technical University. The event was attended by university students and invited speakers: Sergei Zhuk, analyst at the Brest Region Office of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies; Natalia Yalovaya, Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work at Brest State Technical University; and Tatyana Motorina, Labor Veteran and member of the Brest City Council of Veterans.
The discussion focused on the inseparable connection between the peoples of Russia and Belarus, their shared historical roots and cultural heritage. The speakers emphasized that no one will ever be able to sever these ties that unite our countries.
As part of the international literary event "Soul of the People," a teleconference was held with universities in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. Kirill Bessarabov, a first-year student in the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems, performed a heartfelt poem, "In Winter," by Maxim Bogdanovich, which became a vivid symbol of the spiritual unity of the youth of the two countries.
