As part of the celebrations dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Brest State Technical University and the Year of Belarusian Women, the university opened the exhibition "The Light of Women's Names." This exhibition is a tribute to the authorities who stood at the origins of the university and made an invaluable contribution to its development.

The exhibition tells the story of the outstanding women who were associated with the founding of the Brest Civil Engineering Institute (BISI) and the Brest Polytechnic Institute—the predecessors of today's BrSTU. Among the highlights are the faculty, scientists, administrators, and staff members whose names are forever inscribed in the university's annals. Their work, prosperity, and dedication laid the foundation upon which the university's educational and scientific glory is built today.
