Brest State Technical University hosted a gala reunion of graduates, "Hello, my youth! BrSTU welcomes its graduates!", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of BrSTU. This event became a shining example of the unbreakable bond between generations and a symbol of the continuity of traditions, uniting those who stood at the university's origins and current students.

The event began in the university assembly hall, where graduates from various years, including representatives of the first graduating classes, gathered. Performances by BrSTU creative groups enhanced the festive atmosphere, treating the guests to vibrant vocal and dance numbers.

BrSTU Rector Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich addressed the gathering with a welcoming speech. He noted the special significance of the meeting and emphasized that today he himself was "taking a test" before the graduates:

"Now I am taking a test before you—those who studied within these walls, who shaped the history of BrSTU. It is important to me that you evaluate how we manage the university today and be confident that traditions live on and the university is developing."

The deans of all five faculties also addressed the graduates.

The meeting concluded with a rich tour program. Guests were able to stroll through the renovated corridors and classrooms and explore modern laboratories equipped with the latest equipment. The graduates were interested in learning about the conditions in which students study today and noted how much the university has changed over the past decades.

Such meetings are not only a tribute to history but also an important incentive for the further development of BrSTU. The university is proud of its graduates and confidently looks to the future, building on a solid foundation of knowledge, experience, and tradition!
