Students from the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems at BrSTU have proven that they not only gain knowledge but also successfully apply it in practice. On April 9, the final round of the Smart Agro 2026 Hackathon took place, where young professionals presented their solutions to pressing economic challenges.
The event was organized by the company "Agriculture Technologies" and the BrSTU "Industrial Robotics" laboratory. Over the course of four weeks, participants worked on projects under the guidance of experienced mentors, choosing tasks from a list provided by the organizers. All cases were related to the real needs of the agricultural sector and the economy as a whole.
During the hackathon, the students not only deepened their knowledge but also gained invaluable experience in teamwork, design, and programming. The final round demonstrated the high level of preparation of future engineers and IT specialists.
The competition results were as follows:
- 3rd place – Team HESOYAM for developing a direct injection and agricultural equipment identification system.
- 2nd place – Team Cognify for creating a chatbot for fuel consumption tracking and analytics.
- 1st place – Team String seifoz_programmin for developing a remote window and door measurement system.
All participants received certificates, and the winners received generous cash prizes.
Congratulations to the teams on their well-deserved awards and wish them continued success in their studies and careers!
