BrSTU Students Conquer Kazan

Kazan Federal University opened its doors to hundreds of young researchers from around the world. Among them were representatives of Brest State Technical University, who traveled to the banks of the Volga to participate in the large-scale educational project "Summer University".

From July 6 to 19, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Russia's oldest classical university opened its doors to 430 participants from Russia, the CIS, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Among them will be BrSTU students, who have the unique opportunity to study at one of the country's ten federal universities.

The Summer University program is packed with activities. Participants can expect:

  • Intensive study: lectures and seminars from leading KFU faculty and industry experts, as well as practical training in modern laboratories.
  • Connection with the real sector: visits to the city's leading companies and the university's industrial partners. Language practice: intensive study and immersion in the Russian language.
  • Engineering networking: cultural exchange, joint projects, and new professional connections with participants from Brazil, China, India, Egypt, Indonesia, Mongolia, Oman, Chile, and other countries.
  • Immersion in the culture of Tatarstan: an extensive excursion program. Students will see Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan, home to four UNESCO World Heritage cultural and historical sites. Participants will immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of a multinational region where Islam and Orthodox Christianity, as well as the traditions of the Tatar and Russian peoples, have enriched each other for over a thousand years.

We wish the participants of the Summer University 2026 productive work, vibrant impressions of the capital of Tatarstan, and successful networking!
