Rector's Ball for 2026 Graduates

On June 29, 2026, the Rector's Ball for the best graduates of BrSTU was held at the Brest Puppet Theater. This evening was not only a beautiful conclusion to student life but also a vibrant symbol of the continuity of generations, respect for traditions, and faith in the future.

This year's graduation ball was marked by two significant events for Belarus. 2026 has been declared the Year of the Belarusian Woman, a symbol of recognition of her creative power and contribution to the development of society. This same year, BrSTU celebrates its 60th anniversary, and it is especially symbolic for young professionals to take up the baton of creation, continuing the glorious traditions and enhancing the achievements of their university.

The formal part of the ball began with a welcoming address by BrSTU Rector Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich. In his speech, he congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of their studies, noting that their achievements are the result of talent, hard work, and the support of their mentors. The rector emphasized that new horizons lie ahead for the young specialists, as well as a responsible mission—to build and develop their native Belarus.

The official part of the event culminated in a gala awards ceremony. The best graduates from all faculties, as well as their parents, were awarded certificates for their excellent academic performance, research, and active participation in university life. The awards were presented by the rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Andrei Gennadievich Prorovsky, and Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Natalia Petrovna Yalovaya.

Brest State Technical University graduates who graduated with honors were personally presented with diplomas with distinction by the rector and Vice-Rector for Research, Nikolai Nikolaevich Shalobyta. The evening was a special one for all participants of the rector's ball. Each graduate received a well-deserved award—an award statuette.

The evening's creative program was rich and varied. Graduates were congratulated by the vocal group "Sensation," performing the songs "We Are Beginning Our Way" and "Sails," the original genre studio "DE Force" with a vibrant "Waltz with a Hula Hoop," and soloists from the folk singing studio with the song "Draw a Dream." Musical and dance performances alternated with parting words from the faculty deans, who shared warm memories and good wishes.

The official part of the event concluded with the performance of the BrSTU Anthem. All ball participants took a group photo at the main entrance.

The second part of the ball, held in the theater foyer, featured a classical dance program for the graduates. As per tradition, the evening opened with a majestic polonaise, symbolizing the beginning of a new life. This was followed by a gavotte, a cracovienne, a lively quadrille, and, of course, a captivating waltz.

The BrSTU Rector's Ball for the Class of 2026 once again confirmed that graduation is not just a final point, but a powerful start to new achievements. The university family is confident that the knowledge gained within the walls of BrSTU will provide young professionals with a reliable foundation on their path to professional success. Farewell, graduates!
